How early should I schedule a ride?

For most TennCare-covered rides, schedule at least 3 business days in advance through your broker. For private-pay or facility-billed trips, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice, but we'll do our best to accommodate same-day requests when our schedule allows.

Are TennCare/Medicaid rides really free for the rider?

Yes — eligible TennCare members ride at no out-of-pocket cost. Trips are coordinated and paid through Verida, the TennCare NEMT broker. Schedule by calling TennCare's NEMT line; Verida assigns the trip to a credentialed provider like us.

What counties do you serve?

We serve Middle and East Tennessee — Nashville/Davidson, Knoxville/Knox, Chattanooga/Hamilton, Murfreesboro, Cookeville, Crossville, McMinnville, Tullahoma, and surrounding counties. For long-distance trips outside our usual area, please call us — we can often help.

Are wheelchairs and scooters secured during the trip?

Always. Our wheelchair-equipped vehicles use four-point securement systems that meet ADA standards, plus separate occupant lap and shoulder belts. Drivers are trained to inspect every securement before the vehicle moves.

Can a family member or caregiver ride along?

For TennCare-covered rides, one approved escort is typically allowed at no extra charge — please request when scheduling. For facility-billed or private-pay trips, additional riders may be welcomed depending on vehicle capacity.

What happens if my appointment runs late?

Call our dispatch line as soon as you know — 931-823-4440. We'll reschedule the return pickup as best we can. We track every active trip by GPS, so dispatch always knows where the assigned driver is and what they have available.

Do you provide door-through-door assistance?

Yes — for members who need help getting from inside their home to the vehicle and from the vehicle to the destination's door. Please request door-through-door when scheduling so we can plan the right level of support.

How do I become a facility partner with monthly billing?

Adult day programs, dialysis centers, behavioral health clinics, and skilled-nursing facilities can set up Net-30 invoiced accounts. Call us at 931-823-4440 or email [email protected] to discuss volumes and rates.

How do you handle member privacy?

All drivers and dispatch staff are HIPAA-trained before they handle a single ride. We collect only the information needed to schedule and bill the trip. See our Notice of Privacy Practices for details on how Protected Health Information is handled.
